Privacy notice

What we do with the details you send us, and what we do not do with them.

What we collect

If you fill in the enquiry form we collect the name, email address, telephone number and — where you choose to give them — the postcode, number of windows and description of the problem that you type into it. We do not ask for anything else, and there is no account to create.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

Solely to answer your enquiry, give you a price and arrange a survey. The lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have asked us for a quotation, and we cannot provide one without contacting you. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who sees it

Enquiries are delivered to our own staff through a private messaging channel. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to third-party lead brokers.

The technical suppliers that necessarily handle the data in transit are our website host and content delivery network (Cloudflare) and the messaging platform that delivers the enquiry to us (Telegram). Both act as processors of the message you send.

Anti-spam checks

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. It runs invisibly and does not track you across other websites.

Analytics

We use a privacy-oriented analytics tool to count page views and understand which guides people find useful. It is served from our own domain, does not record your screen, and is not used to build an advertising profile of you. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where we carry out work, we keep the job record for six years, which is the period we may need it for accounting, warranty and insurance purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Send the request through the enquiry form and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
