What to tell us
The more of this you can give us, the more useful the first answer will be — and the less likely it is that a survey turns up something that changes the price.
- How many sash windows, and roughly how many are on upper floors.
- Your postcode, so we know whether you are in our area and how access looks.
- What is actually wrong — draughts, rattling, painted shut, cords broken, sashes dropped, rot at the cill.
- Whether the building is listed or in a conservation area. It changes what we can do — see listed buildings.
- Whether you want decoration included, and whether any external painting is due anyway.

Enquiries come through the form above and we answer every one. Tell us the best time to reach you and whether you would rather we replied by email or rang you back, and we will work to that.

London, Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Most of our work is whole-house, on Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian properties. What happens next
- We reply with a guide price range based on what you have told us.
- If that works for you, we arrange a survey — typically 40 to 60 minutes.
- You get a written, itemised quotation, including what happens if rot is found.
- Work is done from inside, room by room. No scaffolding is needed for the draught proofing itself.
